October 7th 2011, Italian Wine Club Seoul, "Sicily Night - Dinner with the Godfather"
The Italian Wine Club is pleased to announce its next event in Seoul, "Sicily Night - Dinner with the Godfather", held at Esclusivo Private Italian Dining on Friday 7th October from 7.30 pm.
Esclusivo means “Special”, “Unique” and “Exclusive” in Italian language, and is led by the Owner Chef Sebastiano Giangregorio, a Michelin Star Italian Chef who has created a place where people can enjoy exclusive food and service.
The event will start with a buffet of Italian food that will be served with a selection of great Italian wines from the area of Marsala (Sicily) that will come along with a detailed explanation of each bottle. You will also have the chance to win many prizes at the lucky draw, including some of the bottles of wines that you will taste during the evening.

WINE SELECTION
The vineyards of Giummarella and Cuttaia are located in a hilly area East of Marsala at an altitude that goes from 200 up to 400 meters above sea level. The types of grapes planted are: Inzolia, Catarratto, Grecanico, Grillo, Chardonnay, Moscato Bianco, Zibibbo, Viogner for whites, and Nero d’Avola, Perricone, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds. The harvest period begins the very first days of August with the Chardonnay and Viognier and ends at the end of September with the Perricone. The grapes once harvested are carried to the Marsala cellars where begins the process of transformation into wine.
The selection of wines from that area that you will taste includes:
- Tasari Rosso, Nero d'Avola and Merlot IGT (2 glasses)
- Cusora Bianco, Chardonnay and Viognier IGT
- Cutaja, Nero d'Avola IGT
These wines have been awarded as medalists in the Korea Wine Challenge 2011 held in June.

June 4th, 2011 – DALSMA 2011
DALSMA is an annual international conference about Digital Architecture and Large Scale Media Art.
With more and more people moving into densely populated cities, we assist to the transformation of the concept of "city", from blocks of steel and concrete to the idea that a city can be an expressive canvas that bridges between the virtual and the real world. DALSMA has the specific goal to inspire people and increase their awareness about how we should start re-thinking modern cities.
Five great speakers working in architecture and media art will give keynote presentations about their perspectives on this topic, for an interesting afternoon full culture, artistic performances and interaction with great people.
DALSMA 2011 will be held on the June 4, 2011 in Seoul (Korea), one of the most innovative, lively and digital city in the world. The speakers list will also include Marco Bruno and Simone Carena from the architecture company MOTOElastico, one of the members of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ITCCK).

March 3, 2011 Seoul - ITCCK Annual General Meeting
In occasion of the 2011 Annual General Meeting there will be the chance to celebrate the second year of activity of the ITCCK from its establishment (May 2008). There will also be the chance to elect the new Committee positions, to discuss about 2009 activities and about the schedule and budget for the current year. The General Meeting will be followed by a buffet dinner at 19.30.

February 23, 2011, Seoul – ITCCK Board of Directors Meeting
The first Board meeting of 2011 took place in Seoul on February 23rd with the important attendance of H.E. Sergio Mercury, recently appointed as new Ambassador of Italy in Seoul. The main subjects of discussion have been the greetings from the ITCCK Board of Directors to the new Ambassador, the Road Show in Italy, the ITCCK Committees, the issue of a Membership Card, future event activities of ITCCK, the summoning of the Annual General Meeting and a proposal to change some points of the ITCCK statute.

Januay 31-February 11 2011 - Road Show in Italy
Between 31st January 2011 and 11th February 2011 the Vice-President acting President and the Secretary general of the ITCCK travelled around Italy in order to give country presentations and meet companies and local institutions. The events were held as follows:
31st January: Foggia Chamber of Commerce
3rd February: Novara Chamber of Commerce
7th February: Torino Chamber of Commerce
9th february: Centro Estero Veneto, Venezia
10th February: Udine Chamber of Commerce
11th February: Pordenone Chamber of Commerce
In each city the ITCCK received an outstanding interest for Korea and its impressive results despite the global economic crisis. Some Italian Chambers of Commerce are planning or are willing to plan trade missions to Korea, and many companies are willing to export their products and services to Korea.
The Road Show has been carried out together with the Italian Chambers of Commerce in Asia, Australia, UAE and South Africa, and it represents an important step to the registration in Assocamerestero.

The meeting of the ITCCK Board of Directors took place in Seoul on October 28th. The main subjects of discussion have been the registration in Italy, the vacancy positions, the establishment of Sectorial Committees, the participation at the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad Convention and the Membership campaign for 2011.

24-27 October 2010, Parma - XIX Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad Convention
Mr. Alessandro Canova, Vice-President acting President, represented ITCCK at the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad Convention held in Parma (Italy) from October 24th to October 27th. The convention represents a great opportunity to narrow the gap between Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad and Italian companies, and deepen the knowledge of foreign markets, import-export issues, new markets and the perception of made in Italy products.

July 15, 2009 Seoul - ITCCK Committee Meeting
In the occasion of the last meeting of the Board of Directors, held in Seoul on July 15 2009, under proposal of ITCCK’s President, Dott. Salvatore Armanno, former executive of Palermo Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed unanimously “adviser” of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea. Dott. Armanno will care about the relations of the ITCCK in Sicily, in particular with the entrepreneurial world and the local institutions.
July 2 – 3, 2009 - 13 Convention of the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad (areas Asia and Africa)
Mr. Alessandro Canova, Vice President of Assioma Net and Member of the Board of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea attended the 13 Convention of the Italian Chamber of Commerce Abroad, referred to the areas of Asia and Africa. On that occasion a delegation of around 20 representatives of the Italian Chambers of Commerce of the above areas reached Vicenza for the Convention. The group included Presidents and Secretary General of the main Chambers based in that regions and it was leaded by Davide Cucino, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China.
The Convention has been focused on the theme: "To relaunche the Made in Italy in Asia and Africa: the look of the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad past the crisis"
