October 7th 2011, Italian Wine Club Seoul, "Sicily Night - Dinner with the Godfather"

The Italian Wine Club is pleased to announce its next event in Seoul, "Sicily Night - Dinner with the Godfather", held at Esclusivo Private Italian Dining on Friday 7th October from 7.30 pm.

Esclusivo means “Special”, “Unique” and “Exclusive” in Italian language, and is led by the Owner Chef Sebastiano Giangregorio, a Michelin Star Italian Chef who has created a place where people can enjoy exclusive food and service.

The event will start with a buffet of Italian food that will be served with a selection of great Italian wines from the area of Marsala (Sicily) that will come along with a detailed explanation of each bottle. You will also have the chance to win many prizes at the lucky draw, including some of the bottles of wines that you will taste during the evening.

WINE SELECTION

The vineyards of Giummarella and Cuttaia are located in a hilly area East of Marsala at an altitude that goes from 200 up to 400 meters above sea level. The types of grapes planted are: Inzolia, Catarratto, Grecanico, Grillo, Chardonnay, Moscato Bianco, Zibibbo, Viogner for whites, and Nero d’Avola, Perricone, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds. The harvest period begins the very first days of August with the Chardonnay and Viognier and ends at the end of September with the Perricone. The grapes once harvested are carried to the Marsala cellars where begins the process of transformation into wine.

The selection of wines from that area that you will taste includes:

- Tasari Rosso, Nero d'Avola and Merlot IGT (2 glasses)
- Cusora Bianco, Chardonnay and Viognier IGT
- Cutaja, Nero d'Avola IGT

These wines have been awarded as medalists in the Korea Wine Challenge 2011 held in June.

4 giugno 2011 – DALSMA 2011

DALSMA is an annual international conference about Digital Architecture and Large Scale Media Art.

With more and more people moving into densely populated cities, we assist to the transformation of the concept of "city", from blocks of steel and concrete to the idea that a city can be an expressive canvas that bridges between the virtual and the real world. DALSMA has the specific goal to inspire people and increase their awareness about how we should start re-thinking modern cities.

Five great speakers working in architecture and media art will give keynote presentations about their perspectives on this topic, for an interesting afternoon full culture, artistic performances and interaction with great people.

DALSMA 2011 will be held on the June 4, 2011 in Seoul (Korea), one of the most innovative, lively and digital city in the world. The speakers list will also include Marco Bruno and Simone Carena from the architecture company MOTOElastico, one of the members of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ITCCK).

In occasion of the 2011 Annual General Meeting there will be the chance to celebrate the second year of activity of the ITCCK from its establishment (May 2008). There will also be the chance to elect the new Committee positions, to discuss about 2009 activities and about the schedule and budget for the current year. The General Meeting will be followed by a buffet dinner at 19.30.

Tra il 31 gennaio e l’11 febbraio 2011 il Vice-Presidente con funzioni di Presidente ed il Segretario generale delal ITCCK hanno viaggiato in diverse citta’ italiane per presentare la Corea del Sud ed incontrare aziende ed istituzioni locali. Agenda degli eventi:

7 febbraio: Camera di Commercio di Torino
9 febbraio: Centro Estero Veneto, Venezia

In ongi localita’ visitata la ITCCK ha raccolto un elevato interesse per la Corea e per gli impressionanti risultati ottenuti nonostante la crisi economica globale. Diverse Camere di Commercio in Italia stanno pianificando o hanno intenzione di organizzare missioni commerciali in Corea e molte societa’ sono interessate ad esportare i propri prodotti e servizi in Corea.

Il Road Show e’ stato organizzato in cooperazione con le Camere di Commercio Italiane i nAsia, Australia, EAU e Sud Africa, e rappresenta un importante passo verso la registrazione in Assocamerestero.

24-27 ottobre 2010, Parma – XIX Convention delle Camere di Commercio italiane all’estero

Alessandro Canova, Vice-President acting President, ha rappresentato la ITCCK durante la Convention delle Camere di Commercio italiane all’estero svolta a Parma dal 24 al 27 ottobre. La convention rappresenta un’ottima opportunita’ per avvicinare le Camere di Commercio italiane all’estero e le aziende italiane, ed approfondire temi quail la conoscenza dei mercati esteri, le peculiarita’ di import-export, la possibilita’ di entrare in nuovi mercati e la percezione dei prodotti italiani all’estero.

15 luglio 2009 Seoul - ITCCK Committee Meeting

In occasione dell’ultimo incontro del Board of Directors, svoltosi a Seoul il 15 luglio 2009, su proposta del Presidente della ITCCK il Dott. Salvatore Armanno, gia’ dirigente della Camera di Commercio di Palermo, e’ stato nominato all’unanimita’ “adviser” della Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea. Il Dott. Armanno curera’ le relazioni della ITCCK in Sicilia, con particolare riferimento ai rapporti con il mondo imprenditoriale e con le istituzioni locali.

2~3 luglio, 2009 - 13 Convention delle Camere di Commercio Italiane all’Estero (aree Asia e Africa)

Alessandro Canova, Vice Presidente di Assioma Net e Membro del Board della Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea ha partecipato alla 13 Convention delle Camere di Commercio Italiane all`estero, dell`area Asia e Africa. Per l’occasione, una delegazione di circa 20 rappresentanti delle Camere di Commercio Italiane all’Estero di quelle aree si e` riunita a Vicenza per la Convention. Il gruppo era formato dai Presidenti e dai Segretari Generali delle più importanti Camere di quelle regioni, ed era guidato da Davide Cucino, Presidente della Camera di Commercio Italiana in Cina.
La Convention si e’ focalizzata sul tema: "Rilanciare il Made in Itay in Asia e in Africa: lo sguardo delle Camere di Commercio italiane all'estero oltre la crisi".
