27 luglio 2010 Seoul – ITCCK Board of Directors Meeting

The first meeting of the new elected ITCCK Board of Directors took place in Seoul on July 27th. The main subjects of discussion have been the future event activities of ITCCK, the issue of an internal Directory of ITCCK Members and the establishment of a Fashion & Luxury Committee.

23 giugno 2010 Seoul - ITCCK General Meeting

In occasion of the 2010 General Meeting there will be the chance to celebrate the second year of activity of the ITCCK from its establishment (May 2008). There will also be the chance to elect the new Committee positions, to discuss about 2009 activities and about the schedule and budget for the current year. The General Meeting will be followed by a buffet dinner at 19.30.

11 giugno 2010 Seoul - [Inter Chamber Seminar] State of Work-Life Balance

Like many other key cities in Asia, Seoul faces significant challenges in terms of the work-life balance of its working population. Globally, South Koreans have a reputation for a rigorous work ethic, putting in long hours and working overtime – often at the expense of personal considerations. Anecdotally we know this to be true, but until now we have not had the representative data to support this.

For the first time, the findings of the State of Work-Life Balance in Seoul 2010 Survey will provide some real facts and enable us to assess to what extent work-life balance is a challenge for employees in South Korea. This representative survey of the working population in Seoul - the first of its kind for South Korea, will serve as an important reference point for the business community. In particular it will enable companies to understand the current work and life patterns of employees in Seoul, their level of satisfaction with their current work-life balance, the key problems they face and their most desired solutions.

We are pleased to invite you to the Work-Life Balance Seminar, an open forum for discussing Work-Life challenges and solutions based on these findings. The seminar is sponsored by Inter-Cham, an alliance of Foreign Chamber of Commerce in Korea and the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

15 luglio 2009 Seoul - ITCCK Committee Meeting

In occasione dell’ultimo incontro del Board of Directors, svoltosi a Seoul il 15 luglio 2009, su proposta del Presidente della ITCCK il Dott. Salvatore Armanno, gia’ dirigente della Camera di Commercio di Palermo, e’ stato nominato all’unanimita’ “adviser” della Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea. Il Dott. Armanno curera’ le relazioni della ITCCK in Sicilia, con particolare riferimento ai rapporti con il mondo imprenditoriale e con le istituzioni locali.

2~3 luglio, 2009 - 13 Convention delle Camere di Commercio Italiane all’Estero (aree Asia e Africa)

Alessandro Canova, Vice Presidente di Assioma Net e Membro del Board della Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea ha partecipato alla 13 Convention delle Camere di Commercio Italiane all`estero, dell`area Asia e Africa. Per l’occasione, una delegazione di circa 20 rappresentanti delle Camere di Commercio Italiane all’Estero di quelle aree si e` riunita a Vicenza per la Convention. Il gruppo era formato dai Presidenti e dai Segretari Generali delle più importanti Camere di quelle regioni, ed era guidato da Davide Cucino, Presidente della Camera di Commercio Italiana in Cina.
La Convention si e’ focalizzata sul tema: "Rilanciare il Made in Itay in Asia e in Africa: lo sguardo delle Camere di Commercio italiane all'estero oltre la crisi".
