October 7th 2011, Italian Wine Club Seoul, "Sicily Night - Dinner with the Godfather"

The Italian Wine Club is pleased to announce its next event in Seoul, "Sicily Night - Dinner with the Godfather", held at Esclusivo Private Italian Dining on Friday 7th October from 7.30 pm.

Esclusivo means “Special”, “Unique” and “Exclusive” in Italian language, and is led by the Owner Chef Sebastiano Giangregorio, a Michelin Star Italian Chef who has created a place where people can enjoy exclusive food and service.

The event will start with a buffet of Italian food that will be served with a selection of great Italian wines from the area of Marsala (Sicily) that will come along with a detailed explanation of each bottle. You will also have the chance to win many prizes at the lucky draw, including some of the bottles of wines that you will taste during the evening.

WINE SELECTION

The vineyards of Giummarella and Cuttaia are located in a hilly area East of Marsala at an altitude that goes from 200 up to 400 meters above sea level. The types of grapes planted are: Inzolia, Catarratto, Grecanico, Grillo, Chardonnay, Moscato Bianco, Zibibbo, Viogner for whites, and Nero d’Avola, Perricone, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds. The harvest period begins the very first days of August with the Chardonnay and Viognier and ends at the end of September with the Perricone. The grapes once harvested are carried to the Marsala cellars where begins the process of transformation into wine.

The selection of wines from that area that you will taste includes:

- Tasari Rosso, Nero d'Avola and Merlot IGT (2 glasses)
- Cusora Bianco, Chardonnay and Viognier IGT
- Cutaja, Nero d'Avola IGT

These wines have been awarded as medalists in the Korea Wine Challenge 2011 held in June.

the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ITCCK) is delighted to invite you to an Italian Informal Dinner at Club Italia (Hannam-dong) on Thursday 28th April from 7.30 pm. This special venue is the weekly reunion place of the Italian Community in Seoul, and it is open to everybody in this special occasion, for an evening of delicious food and informal networking atmosphere.

2011년 6월 4일– DALSMA 2011

DALSMA is an annual international conference about Digital Architecture and Large Scale Media Art.

With more and more people moving into densely populated cities, we assist to the transformation of the concept of "city", from blocks of steel and concrete to the idea that a city can be an expressive canvas that bridges between the virtual and the real world. DALSMA has the specific goal to inspire people and increase their awareness about how we should start re-thinking modern cities.

Five great speakers working in architecture and media art will give keynote presentations about their perspectives on this topic, for an interesting afternoon full culture, artistic performances and interaction with great people.

DALSMA 2011 will be held on the June 4, 2011 in Seoul (Korea), one of the most innovative, lively and digital city in the world. The speakers list will also include Marco Bruno and Simone Carena from the architecture company MOTOElastico, one of the members of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ITCCK).

2011년 3월 3일 - ITCCK 연례총회

2011년 ITCCK 정기 연례 총회를 맞이하여 2008년 5월 설립된 ITCCK의 2년째 되는 해를 축하하면서 새로운 위원들을 투표하고 과거 2009년의 활동, 올해의 예산안과 계획안에 대해 토의하였다. 정기 총회에 이어 19시 30분부터는 부페 디너가 있었다.

2011년 2월 23일 서울 -ITCCK 이사회

2011년 첫 이사회가 2월 23일 서울에서 개최되었다. 이사회에는 최근 주한 이탈리아 대사로 임명된 세르죠 메르쿠리 대사가 참석했다. 신임 대사의 인사로 시작한 이번 이사회의 주요 안건은 이탈리아 로드쇼, ITCCK 위원회, 멤버쉽 카드 발급, 차후 ITCCK 행사, 연례 정기 총회를 위한 소집, ITCCK 정관 일부 항목의 수정 제안이었다.

2011년 1월 31일~2월 11일 - 이탈리아 로드쇼

2011년 1월 31일부터 2월 11일까지 ITCC를 대표하여 회장대행 부회장과 소장이 이탈리아의 여러 도시를 순회하며 한국을 소개하고 지역 기관 및 기업들과의 만남을 가졌다. 행사 아젠다는 다음과 같았다.

1월 31일: 포쟈(Foggia) 상공회의소
2월 3일: 노바라(Novara) 상공회의소
2월 7일: 토리노(Torino) 상공회의소
2월 9일: 베네토(Veneto) 및 베네치아(Venezia) 해외센터
2월 10일: 우디네(Udine) 상공회의소
2월 11일: 포르데노네(Pordenone) 상공회의소

ITCCK가 방문한 모든 도시들이 한국에 대해 높은 관심을 보였으며, 이번 방문을 통해 세계적인 경제위기에도 불구하고 인상깊은 성과를 거두었다. 이탈리아의 여러 상공회의소들이 한국으로 무역 대표단을 파견하거나 파견하기 위해 구상하기 시작했으며 많은 업체들이 한국으로 자신들의 제품과 서비스를 수출하는 것에 대해 깊은 관심을 표명했다.

이번 로드쇼는 아시아, 호주, 유럽, 남아프리카 주재 이탈리아 상공회의소들의 협력 속에서 조직되었으며, 이는 ITCCK의 상공회의소 연합 가입을 향한 중요한 진척을 의미했다.

2010년 10월 28일, 서울 - ITCCK 이사회

ITCCK 이사회가 10월 28일 서울에서 열렸다. 주요 안건은 이탈리아에서의 등록건, 이사회 공석, 분과 위원회 설립, 이탈리아 해외 상공회의소 컨벤션 참가, 2011년 멤버쉽 캠페인과 관련 문제 등이었다.

2010년 10월 24-27일, 파르마 - 19회 이탈리아 해외 상공회의소 컨벤션

회장대행 부회장 알레싼드로 카노바가 ITCCK를 대표하여 10월 24~27일 이탈리아 파르마에서 열린 이탈리아 해외 상공회의소 컨벤션에 참가하였다. 본 컨벤션은 이탈리아 상공회의소들과 이탈리아 가업들 간의 거리를 좁히고 해외시장에 대한 지식을 넓히며 수입-수출 관련 문제, 새로운 시장 개척, 이탈리아 제품들이 해외에서 어떻게 인식되고 있는가 등을 알려주는 중요한 기회였다.

2010년 10월 19일, 서울 - 글로벌 CEO 와인 포럼 파티

2009년 7월 15일 서울 - ITCCK 정기 이사회

이날 ITCCK 운영이사회의 정기회의에서 회장의 발의에 따라 만장일치로 이탈리아 팔레르모 상공회의소의 경영진 중 하나로 재직했던 살바토레 아르만노(Salvatore Armanno)를 주한 이탈리아 상공회의소의 고문으로 임명했으다. 살바토레 아르만노 박사는 팔레르모 지역의 기관 및 기업들과의 연계업무를 담당하게 된다.

2009년 7월 2~3일 - 해외 주재 이탈리아 상공회의소 컨벤션 (아시아 아프리카 지구)

Assioma.Net의 부사장이며 주한이탈리아상공회의소의 집행 이사회 멤버인 알렉산드로 카노바가 주한이탈리아상공회의소를 대표하여 아시아 아프리카 지역의 해외이탈리아상공회의소 컨벤션에 참석했다. 이탈리아 비첸자에서 열린 본 컨벤션에는 아시아 아프리카 지역에 주재하는 이탈리아 상공회의소들을 대표하여 약 20여명이 회합했는데, 중국 주재 이탈리아 상공회의소의 회장인 바비데 쿠치노를 비롯하여 해당 지역 주요 국가 상공회의소의 회장 및 사무소장들이 참석하였다.
본 컨벤션에서 촛점을 맞춘 테마는 경제위기를 뛰어넘어 아시아와 아프리카 지역에서 "메이드 인 이탈리아"의 위상을 드높이는 것이었다.
