ITCCK and BJFEZ Strengthen Korea–Italy Investment Cooperation through MOU Signing

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ITCCK, President Andrea Verazzi) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority (BJFEZ, Commissioner Park Seongho) on September 5 at Lotte Hotel Seoul to strengthen bilateral trade and investment cooperation.

The signing ceremony was held as part of the Korea–Italy Business Forum 2025, organized by the Embassy of Italy in Korea and the Italian Trade Agency in partnership with the Federation of Korean Industries and Confindustria. The event was attended by Valentino Valentini, Deputy Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy; Park Jongwon, Deputy Minister for Commerce at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy; and Emilia Gatto, Ambassador of Italy to Korea.
Through the MOU signed during the business forum, ITCCK and BJFEZ committed to:

• Supporting Italian companies’ entry into Busan and Gyeongnam,
• Assisting Korean companies in expanding into the European market,
• Organizing exchange events between Korean and Italian companies, and
• Sharing information on investment and industry trends.
  
  

The partnership is expected to open new opportunities for collaboration, combining Italy’s advanced technologies and industrial strengths with Korea’s dynamic economic landscape.

 ITCCK, BJFEZ와 MOU 체결로 한–이 투자 협력 강화

지난 9월 5일, 주한이탈리아상공회의소(회장 Andrea Verazzi, 이하 ITCCK)는 서울 롯데호텔에서 부산진해경제자유구역청(청장 박성호, 이하 BJFEZ)과 양국 간 무역 및 투자 협력 강화를 위한 상호협력 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했습니다.

이번 협약은 주한이탈리아대사관과 이탈리아무역공사가 주최한 ‘한–이탈리아 비즈니스 포럼 2025’의 주요 프로그램 중 하나로 진행됐습니다. 이번 행사에는 Valentino Valentini 이탈리아 기업 및 메이드 인 이탈리아 담당 차관, 박종원 한국 산업통상자원부 통상차관, 그리고 Emilia Gatto 주한이탈리아대사가 참석했습니다.
본 협약을 통해 ITCCK와 BJFEZ는 다음과 같은 협력 사항에 합의했습니다:

• 이탈리아 기업의 부산 및 경남 지역 진출 지원
• 한국 기업의 유럽 시장 확대
• 양국 기업 간 교류 행사 개최
• 투자와 산업 관련 정보 공유 

이번 파트너십을 통해 이탈리아의 첨단 기술과 산업 역량이 한국의 역동적인 경제 환경과 어우러져, 새로운 협력의 기회가 열릴 것으로 기대됩니다.
